WeFid

Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-11-04

Draft. This text describes how WeFid works today. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and the company details are still to be completed.

These terms apply when you use WeFid, as a customer or as a business. By creating an account you agree to them.

What WeFid is

WeFid, run by WeFid [to be completed before launch], lets businesses offer digital loyalty cards and lets customers keep all their cards in one account.

The loyalty programs, stamps, points and rewards are offered by each business, not by WeFid. WeFid provides the tool.

Your account

  • Customers must be at least 16.
  • Give correct information and keep your password to yourself.
  • One account per person. An account is either a customer account or a business account.
  • Tell us if you think someone else is using your account.

For customers

  • WeFid is free for customers.
  • Your personal QR code identifies you to a business. Do not share it or let others use it.
  • Stamps, points and rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.
  • Special offers (for example a percentage off for a few days, sometimes only for the first customers) are given by the business at its counter, once per customer, while they run. A business can stop an offer early.
  • A business may give you a birthday gift (a product or a discount), valid from 3 days before to 7 days after your birthday, once, at its counter. It decides whether it gives one, what it is and which customers receive it.
  • A reward is given by the business that issued it. If a business pauses, changes or ends its program, or closes, WeFid cannot give you the reward in its place.
  • A business may welcome a limited number of customers, depending on its WeFid plan. When it is full, new customers cannot join its programs; cards you already have keep working.

For businesses

  • You decide the rules of your programs and you are responsible for honouring the rewards your customers earned.
  • Only add stamps or points for real purchases or visits, and only redeem a reward when you actually give it.
  • When you publish a special offer, you give it at your counter to your customers who show their WeFid code, as described, until it ends or you stop it. WeFid emails it, on your behalf, to your customers who agreed to receive offers, and puts it on their Google Wallet card if they added it.
  • On the Standard and Premium plans you can write emails to your customers who agreed to receive offers (Standard 2 a month, Premium 4), sent at once or at a moment you choose. WeFid sends them in your business’s name; you never see their email addresses. You are responsible for what you write: true, about your business, nothing unlawful or misleading.
  • When you switch on a birthday gift, you give it at your counter, as described, to the customers it was given to during its period. WeFid gives it automatically and emails it, on your behalf, to those who agreed to receive offers (and puts it on their Google Wallet card if they added it). You never see their date of birth.
  • You may use what WeFid shows you about your customers only to run your loyalty program. Do not copy it elsewhere or use it to contact customers outside WeFid.
  • If your business is on the premium plan and has a running program, its name, logo, website, town and position on the map (from your address) appear on the Partners page that all WeFid customers can see. You can switch this off in the app. The website you give must be your own business’s and must not lead to anything unlawful or misleading.
  • Each plan allows a number of customers: Free up to 50, Standard up to 500, Premium without limit. A customer counts once, however many of your programs they joined. When your business reaches its plan’s limit, new customers cannot join your programs until you move to a bigger plan; your existing customers’ cards, stamps, points and rewards always keep working, also after a move to a smaller plan.
  • Each plan also allows a number of loyalty programs and includes some features: Free has 1 program; Standard 2 programs and the Excel export of your numbers; Premium as many programs as you like, rewards along the way, special offers, birthday gifts, your own poster design with your logo, and Partners (on Free and Standard the QR poster is WeFid’s plain one, without your logo). What you set up on a bigger plan keeps working after a move to a smaller plan; only setting up more of it is no longer possible.
  • Prices and payment terms for businesses: [to be completed before launch].

What is not allowed

Do not misuse WeFid: no fake accounts, no stamps or rewards obtained by cheating, no attempts to access other people’s data or to disturb the service. WeFid may suspend or close an account that does.

Availability and liability

WeFid works to keep the service available and correct, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, WeFid is not liable for indirect losses, or for a business not honouring its own program. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using WeFid at any time. Customers can delete their account on the Account page of the website (it is erased after 15 days unless they log in again); businesses can delete theirs in the WeFid app, under Profile (also erased after 15 days unless they log in again). When a business’s account is erased, its loyalty cards and their unused rewards end; customers are told by email.

Changes and law

If these terms change in a way that matters to you, WeFid will tell you before the change applies.

Belgian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
